Long-Term Care Mattress
A long-term care mattress is specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals who require extended periods of bed rest or have limited mobility due to medical conditions. They are engineered to distribute body weight evenly to prevent pressure ulcers (bed sores) from forming. Fluid-resistant covers are included to protect the mattress from spills, accidents, and bodily fluids, which is essential for maintaining hygiene and cleanliness. TPS offers Air and Foam mattresses in a variety of styles.
Air Mattresses
The DynaRest Airfloat provides a medical-grade solution to a wide range of patients up to 400 lb. (up to 1000 lb. for Bariatric). All Airfloat mattresses combine dual therapies of low air loss and alternating pressure in one unit used to treat pressure wounds. Inflatable air cells with an adjustable air flow dial on the pump provide customized levels for each patient’s comfort and individual requirements. Static mode which inflates all air cells to allow caretakers to suspend the alternating pressure, reducing the risk of injury during repositioning or transfers. The DynaRest Airfloat also comes with a pillow function, for added patient comfort.
3 & 4 mode Airfloat mattresses feature a Seat function which provides optimal support and alternating pressure when patients are in an upright position. The 4 mode Airfloat includes a Max Firm feature which fills the air cells to the maximum firmness for safe transfers.

Foam Mattresses
Dynarest Foam Mattresses provide consistent support and contouring, whereas air mattresses offer adjustable firmness but may not provide the same level of contouring support. TPS offers several styles of foam mattress to choose from.
Tri-Layer: a unique three-layer design that provides a firm base layer, a supportive middle layer, and an ultra-comfortable diamond cut top layer to increase air flow. The top layer also features a dedicated memory foam heel zone to cradle the patient’s feet and firm side edge guards that provide additional support on the edge of the mattress.
Visco-Gel Infused: designed with a middle layer air channel, allowing air to pass through open cells in the foam, while channeling heat away from the body, eliminating perspiration and heat buildup. An optional raised foam safety perimeter decreases the risk of falls and increases overall patient safety by providing a firm foundation for entry and exit.
Bariatric Foam: features a firm mattress edge guard, increased width, and a higher weight capacity to provide added stability for larger patients.
