The unparalleled closure system consists of a PP outer, a PE inner closure, and a Gapless Surface-Seal constructed out of TPE. Made from polypropylene (PP), the lid is highly heat-resistant and durable, offering excellent fatigue resistance. The jar is constructed from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a semi-rigid, lightweight material from the polyester family. PET provides high clarity, strength, and impact resistance, along with good chemical resistance.
Avoid using PET containers to store products that contain essential oils greater than 5% or fragrance oils greater than 15%. If your oil percentages exceed these respective levels, please consider using glass (72013).
