The Profend Nasal Antiseptic Kit is a convenient, clinician-administered solution that uses 10% povidone-iodine (PVP-I) swabsticks to reduce nasal carriage of Staphylococcus aureus and other bacteria. Effective in as little as 10 minutes, Profend is designed to support infection prevention protocols by lowering the risk of surgical site infections (SSIs) and healthcare-associated infections (HAIs).
