Double Impulse Tube Sealer

Double impulse heat sealers are ideal for sealing thicker materials, such as plastic ointment tubes and suppository molds. We offer hand, foot, and semi-automatic operated models that are 12” wide, have a max seal thickness of 20 mil and are available with either a standard 5mm or heavy duty 10mm seal width. The ointment tube sealer uses two heating elements (upper and lower) to fuse the material from both sides at the same time. This gives a faster and better seal for thicker or hard to seal materials. Units are easy to operate. Set the timer, insert the tube between the sealing bars, press down on the foot pedal or handle and release after the timer goes off. Functions great as either ointment tube sealer or suppository sealer! Use the same process for use as a suppository sealer as well. 

Semi-Automatic Tabletop and Foot Operated Vertical models have separate programmable timers for heating, congealing and recycling for different material thicknesses. Once the correct control settings have been programmed, consistent seals are maintained automatically, making the first seal as perfect as the last. These models offer the flexibility to turn the upper seal bar on or off with the flip of a switch. Every Semi-Automatic Tabletop Series Sealer includes an electric foot pedal for optional manual operation.
