Encore Scientific Acquires API line from Total Pharmacy Supply

Today, Encore Scientific (“Encore”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Total Pharmacy Supply’s (“TPS”) chemical business. In conjunction with this acquisition, the two companies have formed a strategic partnership to continue to meet the demands of both companies’ growing customer bases. This transaction will immediately strengthen Encore’s and TPS’ customer offering to the independent pharmacy market by maximizing their individual expertise in quality chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
The acquisition of TPS’ chemical business aligns with Encore Scientific’s North American growth strategy. Commenting on the announcement, Sean DeWitt, CEO of Encore said, “This acquisition and partnership helps us continue to execute on our strategic goals, specifically, expanding our chemical product offering and rapidly growing our buying customer base in North America.
